I have just started a new series of paintings on the theme of Kokopelli deity, which I'm really enjoying. Kokopelli is a native American fertility deity. Often depicted in history with feathers or antenna like protrusions shooting from his head. Kokopelli is said to preside over childbirth and agriculture, so a deity of new growth is how I see him. He is also known as a trickster and represents the sprit of music.
As and when I finish the art I will post them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
